Our STORY

From a Passion Project to India’s Trusted 3D Printing Source DIY3D.in began its journey on July 1, 2017, sparked by a passion for innovation and hands-on creation. Our story started when Krunal Makwana, a final-year B.Tech student, showcased his custom-built 3D printer as part of his engineering project. Crafted from laser-cut acrylic sheets and assembled with care, it was more than just a project—it was a vision of what the future of manufacturing could look like.
Humble Beginnings
In the early days, we built and sold custom DIY 3D printer kits made from acrylic frames—designed for makers, students, and tinkerers. As the technology evolved, so did we. We introduced popular desktop 3D printers like the Ender 3 to Indian users at a time when options were limited and support was hard to find. Expanding Horizons
Our next big leap came with the introduction of Anycubic Photon resin printers in India. We became one of the early sellers to support dental labs and jewelry designers who required precision and fine detail. These partnerships helped us understand the unique needs of professionals—and deliver solutions tailored to them.
