Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K Test File to Check Print Anomalies

by Krunal Makwana 10 Feb 2026

The Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K is a high-resolution resin 3D printer designed for extremely fine detail and smooth surface finish. However, like any precision machine, occasional print anomalies can occur.

If you are noticing:

  • Random layer lines

  • Micro shifts

  • Uneven surface patches

  • Inconsistent exposure areas

  • Repeated defects at the same height

The best way to diagnose the issue is by running a controlled test file.

This guide explains how to properly test your Saturn 4 Ultra 16K to confirm whether the same anomaly occurs — and how to interpret the results.

Step 1 – Download the Test File

We are sharing a simple flat diagnostic file for anomaly detection.

Download the test file here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lT9wxdrtJEy0NWU7DSga4HC-fu-DLfwY/view

This file is designed to:

Cover a large portion of the build area

Use consistent layer exposure

Make repeating defects easy to identify

Step 2 – Print the File

Before printing:

Re-level the build plate

Clean the resin vat

Ensure no cured resin particles are present

Use the same resin you previously used

Slice using your normal exposure settings.

Do not change multiple variables during this test.

Print the file and let it complete fully.

Step 3 – Inspect the Print

After printing, check carefully:

Does the same anomaly appear?

Is it at the same height?

Is it in the same location on the plate?

Does it repeat in multiple areas?
